Emma, a grade 11 student, is a quiet and caring young woman who is dedicated to her family, her school and her community. In grade 10, she joined the Social Action Committee where she first became involved with Free the Children organization. She has participated in many different initiatives within the school/community to build schools, raise awareness and raise money for impoverished children. She is a member of Student Council and her strong character and genuine personality have come through with all she has accomplished. She is always respectful, generous and has made a positive impact on the peers and adults in her life. She certainly stands above many of her peers in demonstrating the wisdom beyond her years and knowing her has made her school community a better place. Emma’s charity of choice is Free the Children for their good work outlined above.
