Christina is a humble, giving young lady who has made a difference in the lives of her family and also in the lives of those who have had the pleasure of getting to know her; her friends, teachers, coaches and health care providers. She has lived every day of her life as witness to the overwhelming impact that Multiple Sclerosis can have on lives. Christina’s mother and aunt were diagnosed with MS in their early 20’s. By the time Christina was born, her mother was in a wheel chair and support workers became a regular part of their household and The MS Society of Canada became a very important part of Christina’s life. That is why she has chosen them as her charity of choice. The MS Society has improved the quality of life for her mother and aunt in many ways and they in turn have inspired Christina to help raise awareness and help others who have been affected by this disease as well as helping to raise funds to support research to find a cure. Christina has joined in many fund raising events and says she leaves feeling like she has really made a difference.
